“what can i tell you about these two dudes… for starters that is their real names. two kids from castle hill like and woah. like, the taller of the two grew up playing ping pong and computer games, kinda just a regular castle hill nerd, and woah the shorter one grew up sporty, not just sporty but fucking sporty. track and field, hi jump, javelin, discus, long jump, 3 legged race, you name it he was doin it. together they share an obsession for modern techno, weird combo but one that works.

The group is a 2 man show with group members Gary Dedman & Kevin Andrews.

Simple Minds is a rock band from Scotland, which had its greatest worldwide popularity from the mid-1980s to the early-1990s. The band, from the south side of Glasgow, produced a handful of critically acclaimed albums in the early 1980s, and later went on to produce some politically inspired and critically praised work.
Simple Minds have secured a string of successful hit singles, the best known being its number one worldwide hit single "Don't You Forget About Me, from the soundtrack of the John Hughes movie The Breakfast Club.
Founding members Jim Kerr (vocals) and Charlie Burchill (guitar), along with drummer Mel Gaynor, are the core of the band, which currently features Mark Taylor on keyboards and Eddie Duffy on bass guitar.
Despite the band's new-found popularity in the UK and Europe, Simple Minds remained essentially unknown in the U.S. The movie The Breakfast Club changed all that. Released in early 1985, this Brat Pack drama from writer/director John Hughes was a box-office smash and made household names of many of its young stars, including Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and Emilio Estevez. It also broke Simple Minds into the US market almost overnight, when the band achieved their only number-one U.S. pop hit with the film's opening track, "Don't You Forget About Me". Ironically, the song wasn't even written by the band, but by Keith Forsey, who offered the song to Billy Idol and Bryan Ferry before Simple Minds agreed to record it. The song soon became a chart-topper in many other countries around the world.

We only have one service provider (isp) so we just have to make use of what we have here !!
I can bet that you guys can upload a song in less than 2 min and download a tune in about 1min 30 sec, It takes me about 10 to 15 min some times just to upload one tune

I've been for the last couple of weeks watching the way things have been going on this blog , and it seems that Remix Land is doing exceptionally well . We are getting about 2000 hits per day and this to me is EXCELLENT !!
But there seems to be one thing that I would like to discuss here with everyone and that is why is it such a big thing for you folks to leave a Comment or Two . I'm not asking you to comment on every single post , but at least try and take the time to give us Dj's here some feed back !!
We take lots of our time to upload and may i say ! Some Killer Tunes are always found here at Remix Land !!!!,
I wish in my day i could log onto a blog like this and DOWNLOAD all the Latest Music ABSOLUTELY FREE !!!
If you can find the time to DOWNLOAD our Music ! WHY cant you find the time to post a Comment or Two . Most of the songs that are uploaded here gets between 1500 and 2500 DOWNLOADS . and out of that we are only getting about 5 to 10 comments which to me is very very poor !!!!!!!!!

There's one thing about me , and that is I will always give the up and coming DJ or Producer the benefit of the doubt , It's always such a pleasure to here what other Dj's in other parts of the world are doing , I think i know where these guys are coming from , as I am from South Africa and in my beginning stages of Dee Jaying it was very difficult to come across Remixes and Remix equipment , so I had to just make use of what i had
